Warm greetings to the community. This time, I’m going to tell you about how I enjoyed this Carnival here in San Juan with my daughters. It was an unforgettable experience. Despite all the stress and the heat, we had a great time.
Un cordial saludo a la comunidad. Esta vez les voy a hablar sobre cómo disfruté con mis hijas este carnaval aquí en San Juan. Fue una experiencia inolvidable. A pesar de todo el estrés y el calor del sol, la pasamos superbién.
At the beginning of the day, I took my daughters to a friend’s house to have their makeup done. They looked beautiful.
Comenzando el día llevé a mis hijas a casa de una amiga para que las maquillara. Se veían hermosas.
After they were ready, we went to school, as one of my daughter's classmates was going to compete for the pageant crown. Her inspiration was the princess from Snow White.
Después de que estuvieron listas nos fuimos al colegio, ya que una compañera de mi hija iba a competir por la corona del certamen. Su inspiración fue la princesa de Blanca Nieves.
We cheered her on a lot, and she won and was the queen.
My daughter Nayla wore a white dress with red flowers, and my other daughter wore a Pink Dress.
We really had a great time at the parade this year.
Le hicimos mucha barra y quedó de reina del concurso.
Mi hija Nayla se puso un vestido blanco con flores rojas y mi otra hija llevaba un vestido rosado.
De verdad que este año la pasamos muy bien en el desfile.
After the parade, we were invited to the plaza. My daughters had a blast! My daughter, Nayla, wore bunny ears, and they enjoyed the costumes parading through town. But since my phone was almost out of power from the event at school that morning, I left it charging at home and went with them. We went to bed late that day, but we were all excited.
Después del desfile, fuimos invitadas a la plaza. ¡Mis hijas se divirtieron al máximo! mi hija Nayla se puso unas orejas de conejito y disfrutaron de los disfraces que desfilaron por el pueblo pero como ya no tenia casi carga mi telefono por el evento en el colegio en la mañana, lo deje en la casa cargando y me fui con ellas. Ese día nos vinimos acostar tarde, pero todas estábamos emocionadas.
The next day, instead of resting, we went to the beach. My daughters invited the girl who was dressed as Snow White. She is a classmate of my daughter Nayla, who is in 5th grade.
Al día siguiente, en vez de descansar, nos fuimos a la playa.
Mis hijas invitaron a la niña que estaba disfrazada de Blanca Nieves Ella es compañera de estudio de mi hija Nayla, que está en 5to grado.
The girl's name is Julieta, and she's a great friend of my two daughters. We shared a fun-filled day together, swimming, taking photos, and just having fun. What a truly memorable time!
La niña se llama Julieta y es muy amiguita de mis 2 hijas. Compartimos un día lleno de diversión, se bañaron, se tomaron fotos y se divirtieron. Qué momentos de verdad.
These days I've been spending time with my daughters and having fun. I've had a great time and enjoyed myself. We really have to try to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment we have with our loved ones. That's the most important thing.
En estos días he estado compartiendo y divirtiéndome con mis hijas. La he pasado muy bien y me he divertido. De verdad que hay que tratar de vivir la vida al máximo y disfrutar cada momento que tenemos con nuestros seres queridos. Es lo más importante
