¡Hola hermosa comunidad de #LadiesOfHive!♥ Es mi primera vez por acá, ya que fui invitada por mi linda amiga @chicalternative a esta iniciativa, así que hoy les presento mi participación en la 33 Edición Del concurso Comunitario De Damas De La Colmena, luego de leer las bases y las preguntas del concurso me animé completamente a hacerlo, así que ¡Aquí vamos!
Hello beautiful community of #LadiesOfHive!♥ It's my first time here, since I was invited by my beautiful friend @chicalternative to this initiative, so today I present my participation in the 33rd edition of the contest De Damas De La Colmena, after reading the rules and questions of the contest I was completely encouraged to do it, so here we go.

1) ¿Era usted una niña o una marimacho cuando crecía? ¿O algo intermedio? ¿Y ahora? ¿Te gustan las faldas, los tacones y las joyas, o te gustan más los vaqueros y las camisetas?
1) Were you a girlie-girl or a tomboy growing up? Or somewhere in-between? How about now? Do you like skirts, heels, & jewelry, or do you like jeans & t-shirt better?
Admito que al leer cada una de las preguntas de este concurso me causaron un poco de gracia ya que son bastante ocurrentes. Puedo decir que desde pequeña he mantenido un solo estilo, aunque variaba un poco debido a los gustos de mi madre, mientras fui creciendo fui teniendo cierto poder sobre como quería verme o vestirme, fui una chica bastante afortunada en ese sentido, ya que mi madre nunca me impuso algo tipo “Las niñas deben vestirse de tal forma”. No fui un marimacho ni tampoco una niña, pero si tenía como un estilo bastante particular y característico. Bermudas o jeans, gorritos, franelas anchas, chaquetas, lentes, collares largos o pegados al cuello (chockers), muchas pulseritas y converse, algo así era como solía vestirme y, de hecho, ese sigue siendo mi estilo actualmente, solo que con un poco más de conocimiento sobre moda y ese tipo de cosas jajaja. Me gustaría destacar que mi paleta de colores siempre fue y sigue siendo negro, blanco, gris, beige y Vinotinto.
Admit that when I read each one of the questions of this contest I was a little bit amused because they are quite witty. I can say that since I was little I have maintained a single style, although it varied a little due to my mother's tastes, as I grew up I was having some power over how I wanted to look or dress, I was a pretty lucky girl in that sense, since my mother never imposed me something like "Girls should dress in such a way". I wasn't a tomboy and I wasn't a girly girl, but I did have a rather particular and characteristic style. Bermuda shorts or jeans, beanies, wide flannels, jackets, glasses, long necklaces or chockers, lots of bracelets and converse, that's how I used to dress and, in fact, that's still my style today, only with a little more knowledge about fashion and that kind of stuff hahaha. I would like to point out that my color palette has always been and still is black, white, gray, beige and Vinotinto.

Desde niña mi madre siempre me compró diversas clases de juguetes, desde muñecas hasta cocinas, tenía de toda clase y si, los usaba todos, pero mis favoritos siempre fueron los balones de mis primos o amigos. Eran las tardes mi parte favorita del día ya que siempre salíamos afuera a jugar distintos deportes, en los que siempre fui muy buena, cabe resaltar. También amaba dibujar y pintar, también era mi mayor fuente de entretenimiento y podría decir que aún lo es.
Since I was a little girl my mother always bought me different kinds of toys, from dolls to kitchens, she had all kinds and yes, I used them all, but my favorites were always the balls of my cousins or friends. Afternoons were my favorite part of the day since we always went outside to play different sports, which I was always very good at, it is worth mentioning. I also loved to draw and paint, it was also my biggest source of entertainment and I could say it still is.
2) ¿Cuál es la afición o el pasatiempo que siempre has querido hacer, pero que nunca has llevado a cabo? ¿Qué te ha impedido intentarlo?
2) What is one hobby or pastime that you always wanted to do, but never pursued? What has prevented you from trying it?
Desde mi adolescencia he soñado con poder aprender a tocar dos instrumentos en especial, de hecho, los mencioné en uno de mis anteriores posts, ya que de verdad los amo y su melodía y es lo más hermoso que he podido escuchar, ellos son el piano y el violín. Aunque no he podido aprender a tocarlos, creo que aún estoy muy joven y podré hacerlo más temprano que tarde, como dice el dicho. Siempre estuve involucrada en el mundo artístico, desde baile hasta actuación, lo cual me incentivó a desenvolverme mucho mejor e incluso, aprender a socializar. Corrí con la suerte de tener unos excelentes compañeros de academia ya que, con su ayuda, me volví una chica un poco más confiada, aunque sigo siendo bastante tímida a la vez.
Since I was a teenager I have dreamed of learning to play two instruments in particular, in fact, I mentioned them in one of my previous posts, because I really love them and their melody and it is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard, they are the piano and the violin. Although I have not been able to learn to play them, I think I am still very young and I will be able to do it sooner rather than later, as the saying goes. I have always been involved in the artistic world, from dancing to acting, which encouraged me to develop myself much better and even learn to socialize. I was fortunate to have excellent classmates at the academy and with their help, I became a more confident girl, although I am still quite shy at the same time.

La música para mí es muy importante, siendo que en ella siempre encuentro una salida cuando no me siento bien, es por ello que deseo poder tocarla, ya que no soy muy buena cantante que se diga. Amaría con mi vida aprender a tocar el piano y el violín, para ser más específica, más que una pasión, es un sueño que quisiera cumplir.
Music is very important to me, since I always find an outlet in it when I don't feel well, that's why I want to be able to play it, since I'm not a very good singer. I would love with my life to learn to play the piano and the violin, to be more specific, more than a passion, it is a dream that I would like to fulfill.
Respondiendo a la 2da pregunta, me detiene la timidez, el rechazo y hasta el miedo, ya que honestamente no sé nada sobre la parte técnica de la música como lo so las notas y acordes, más que lo que he leído en internet y uno que otro libro; así que he llegado a pensar que al momento que me decida pedirle ayuda a alguien o que me enseñe, no me tendrá paciencia y simplemente me dirá que no sirvo para esto y que no es lo mío.
Answering the 2nd question, I am stopped by shyness, rejection and even fear, since I honestly know nothing about the technical part of music such as notes and chords, more than what I have read on the internet and one or another book; so I have come to think that the moment I decide to ask someone for help or to teach me, he will not have patience with me and will simply tell me that I am not good for this and that it is not my thing.
Hay algo que siempre me digo y es “Nadie es perfecto” y nunca es tarde para aprender sobre algo que nos gusta, por ello estoy completamente determinada a lograrlo en algún momento.
There is something I always tell myself and that is "Nobody is perfect" and it is never too late to learn about something we like, so I am fully determined to achieve it at some point.
De verdad me encantó que me invitaran a unirme a esta genial iniciativa, ya que así retomé y pensé muchísimo en este, uno de mis sueños, por decirlo de alguna manera✨.

Nunca es tarde para aprender algo y con esto que te estoy escribiendo quiero estimular a dos personas, a ti y a mi yo interno, ya que siempre he querido aprender a tocar piano, guitarra y cuatro, y lo recorde leyendote, sería bueno hacer algo que se desea, como dicen por allí "tocar la puerta no es entrar, y es mejor fallar en el intento, que nunca haberlo intentado. Así que no te pongas limites animate. Bendiciones.
