A continuación dejo la repuesta de una de las preguntas del Ladies of Hive Community Contest #167, espero les guste…
¿Hay alguna persona o momento especial al que quieras agradecer por hacer de 2023 un gran año? ¿O podría simplemente dejarnos unas palabras de gratitud por este año que dejamos atrás?
Hay tantas cosas por las cuales quisiera agradecer por el pasado año 2023, fueron tantos momentos que llegan en estos momentos a mi mente como una dulce melodía, quisiera plasmar aquí cada amanecer, cada sonrisa, cada bendición que le daba a mis hijos, cada abrazo que le daba a mis nietos; cada compartir en familia, en fin verdaderamente fue un gran año.
Y si hay un momento especial para mí y para mis hermanos, lo titulamos “El Reencuentro”. Desde que murió mi mamá y luego mi papá, los hermanos no teníamos motivos para llegar a la casa materna, donde vivimos los mejores momentos de niños y juventud. Como casi todas las familias, solíamos comunicarnos por un grupo de whatsaap y el pasado año 2023 organizamos El Reencuentro de los hermanos, aunque falto una de nuestras hermanas ya que esta fuera del país.
Fue un Reencuentro tan especial, recordamos a nuestros padres y anécdotas vividas en casa, cada quien con sus nietos y bisnietos, contaba con los ojos llenos de lágrimas algunos recuerdos con nuestros padres y sobre todo las travesuras que hacíamos cuando niños.
Recordar a nuestros padres nos fue uno de los principales motivos de la reunión, todos teníamos algo que contar, todos teníamos algo de que agradecerle a mamá y a papá. Nuestros hijos y nietos que estaban presentes disfrutaron de nuestros recuerdos y nos hacían preguntas sobre sus abuelos como si estuviéramos en una escuela… lo que más sobre salió de las anécdotas era que mi madre a los hijos y a los nietos cuando estaban en el proceso de aprender a hablar ella les enseñaba una grosería y ella decía que aprendían más rápido diciendo una mala palabra que a decir mamá o papá y que luego cuando ya aprendían a hablar, los regañaban para que no dijeran groserías jajajaja era una verdadera experiencia esa.
Una de las cosas que nos prometimos los hermanos es no apartarnos de la presencia de Dios, y guiar a nuestros hijos y nietos en la palabra de Dios, ya que la palabra de Dios es la bendición que pueda tener cualquier persona.
Quizás el próximo año no estemos todos completos para reencontrarnos nuevamente, alguno de mis hermanas se irán del país y ya seremos menos, pero con los que quedemos estaremos encontrándonos en casa da mamá y papá.
De igual manera agradezco primeramente a Dios, él es el guiador, él es el que nos permite despertar cada mañana, el que nos hace vivir el presente; darle gracias a Dios por todo lo que nos proveyó este 2023. Por el la alegría y nuestras tristezas, por el dolor, por lo que pudimos hacer y lo que no.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. What a great year we just had, it was really good, wasn't it?
Here is the answer to one of the questions of the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #167, I hope you like it...
Is there a special person or moment you would like to thank for making 2023 a great year? Or could you just leave us a few words of gratitude for this year behind us?
There are so many things for which I would like to thank for the past year 2023, there were so many moments that come to my mind right now like a sweet melody, I would like to capture here every sunrise, every smile, every blessing I gave to my children, every hug I gave to my grandchildren; every family sharing, in short it was truly a great year.
And if there is a special moment for me and my siblings, we call it "The Reunion". Since the death of my mom and then my dad, we siblings had no reason to come to our mother's house, where we lived the best moments as children and youth. Like almost all the families, we used to communicate through a whatsaap group and last year 2023 we organized the reunion of the siblings, although one of our sisters was missing since she is out of the country.
It was such a special reunion, we remembered our parents and anecdotes lived at home, each one of us with our grandchildren and great-grandchildren, we told with our eyes full of tears some memories with our parents and especially the pranks we did when we were children.
Remembering our parents was one of the main reasons for the reunion, we all had something to tell, we all had something to thank mom and dad for. Our children and grandchildren who were present enjoyed our memories and asked us questions about their grandparents as if we were in a school... what came out of the anecdotes was that my mother taught the children and grandchildren when they were in the process of learning to speak a swear word and she said that they learned faster saying a bad word than saying mom or dad and then when they learned to speak, they were scolded so they would not say swear words hahahaha it was a real experience.
One of the things that we brothers promised ourselves is not to move away from the presence of God, and to guide our children and grandchildren in the word of God, because the word of God is the blessing that any person can have.
Maybe next year we will not be all complete to meet again, some of my sisters will leave the country and we will be less, but with those who are left we will be meeting at the house of mom and dad.
In the same way I thank God first of all, he is the guide, he is the one who allows us to wake up every morning, the one who makes us live in the present; thank God for everything he provided us with this 2023. For the joy and our sorrows, for the pain, for what we were able to do and what we were not able to do.

Life is full of moments, good and not so good, being grateful for them is wonderful.
