The Ladies of HiveThe always delightful @silversaver888 created a new community just for us,

It is 'a community that focuses on women- their interests, joys, passions,' and is a place to 'share stories of their journey in life.'

@thekittygirl is admin of the group and will certainly get us off to a great start!

We are invited to make an introductory post when we join, so briefly, about me

I am retired and due to having had MS for years, I have limited physical mobility. The good part of that is that gives me an excuse to spend much of my time on Hive!

When I was able, I lived a very active life and have traveled to 20 different countries, making friends and learning about the food, customs and history of other places. I have also spent time pursuing my passions of canoeing, kayaking, and being out in nature. I adore my family and because of all the craziness this year I am missing being able to have my kids and grandkids here visiting on weekends, but am so thankful to be able to connect virtually.

Come help build this new community!

You done extremely well when you were fully mobile and seen and experience lots but nothing has stopped you even though you are limited to physical mobility you do the most of it and in my eyes i see you very active everyday without a miss you are one tough cookie and nothing is going to stop you fight on my dear we love you here ❤️

I can remember my grandmother watching for the mailman to receive news of her siblings, and even when she did received the long-awaited letter, the news would already be several days old. We are so lucky to have instant access to the people we care about.

I agree! I'm quite happy for the opportunity to get to know you. I have been to several countries in Europe, but have spent the most time in France, and Portugal. I have been to Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Belize and Bonaire, and have visited Canada often. And I've been to almost all the US states.
