Reef gleaning is known as Panginhas in the Cebuano dialect. while Tagalog-speaking people call it Pamumulot is what experts call that fishing method that is done in shallow coastal, estuarine, and freshwater waters or habitats exposed during low tide.
Have a good day my dear Hivers friends, all over the world. today I want to share with you my Gleaning Experience come and join me.
Last Saturday I was in the coastal reef for Gleaning Fisher as my enjoyment. For me, it is exciting that I found the sea urchins and other organism.
THE SEA URCHINS
This type of sea urchin is one of my favorite food it is very delicious and nutritious. It has a long spine and is sharper which can hurt. It pokes your skin you must be careful or when you go to the sea better wear shoes for the safety of your foot.
HOW TO EAT THE SEA URCHINS?
Sea urchin is usually a delicacy in many parts of the world. It's known for its creamy flesh. Usually eaten right out of the shell. If you'd like to taste sea urchin for yourself. Then, get a fresh one from the sea or the fish market and give it a try it is delicious.
WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF SEA URCHINS TO OUR BODY?
Sea Urchin is rich in protein and dietary fiber. It is also high in vitamins C and A. Sea urchins are high in omega-3 fatty acids that the body needs.

Wow. Thank you for sharing your experience ma'am @missbebeth. Reef gleaning is one of my passions when me and my wife lived in Malapascua Island. Sea urchins and shellfish are abundant there. Aside from nutritious and delicious, gleaning is a great help for us to save money on food budget.
