It was epic all the way… we sure had a journey all the way from Spain… over a month… to the Highlands.
Loved it, every second of it. How could I not 😎
I did classic mini; Netherlands to south Spain in January, snow and ice… for 3 days in 2015. Total days 5.
Now we had a 4x4. A mini would have struggled. The weather warnings were extreme for this day. Luckily all went well.
Now the snow is gone… and the colours of nature, the earth is showing through… will show you soon.
Can’t wait to share the surroundings with you. Raw nature, everywhere I look.
Thank you so much sweetie 🤗 surprisingly it isn’t as cold as everybody thinks. The coming days it goes up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Walking… it is lovely. The fresh and crisp air… I didn’t think I ever had that anywhere like here. Not in any other 5 countries.

I hate the cold and suffer from it badly. Skinny and lazy to eat at times. Among other things. But I'd wrap up and make fires every day for the landscape and solitude (and peace) that your photos depict. Big time!

I’m not good in cold, but one can dress for it. Lots of layers so help. And fires too. We also have underfloor heating at this moment. Not sure what the next place will have…
And not always eating, hahaha yep know that too. Especially when I’m so sucked up in my art… all day, waking up in the evening and see oh I didn’t eat or drink today.
It is so peaceful here… wild animals run through the garden. You hear nothing and it is soooo dark. You don’t see anything out. Only when the moon is visible. 😎 it’s perfect.
