Ladies of Hive is an amazing community which has given so many ladies in HIVE the opportunity to feel belonged as a woman. Actually, this is my first time of making a post for the year and I must say for a truth that it is not deliberate but as a result of my tight schedules and some circumstances beyond my control.
I am a civil Servant and a fashion designer. As you all know, these jobs require sitting down for a very long hours and coming back home, I'll still sit down for some period to get home chores done before bed time. Honestly, I was thrilled when I saw this topic. It was as if this topic was brought up for my sake.
For some years now, I have been suffering from waist/leg pains and anytime I go for treatment and mention the nature of my works, they will say no wonder, that what I am actually suffering from is as a result of prolonged sitting.
As a civil Servant, I can manage to stroll round the office premises and still return feeling refreshed but as a fashion designer, leaving my sewing machine is like leaving an American Visa😂 I'll always like to get some works done before getting out of my sit and I don't really know if this is just me or it's also applicable to all fashion designers.

However, I've deviced a means to ease my pains and get my bones, nerves and my whole body feel relaxed before house chores.
Once I'm back from work, I'll go straight to my room, pull off whatever that's tight on me and lay down flat on the floor facing up with my eyes closed for about 30-45 minutes. Sometimes I'll even doze off to sleep only to be awaken by my husband or children.
Honestly, this has made me to wonder what stuff women are made of because, no matter, we'll still find a way to put things in order
I love this community and I love everything that deals on women empowerment and I've taken a decision to assist any woman who wants to learn fashion and designing.
