I promised some sort of short help guide for selling your video games and here it's.
So you maybe have some video console or games in some drawer and you might be wondering what they are worth.
Usually everything from Nintendo is valuable, Playstation 1 & 2 games are getting expensive, Playstation 3 is now starting to raise prices. Playstation 4 not so much (except few rare ones) and PS5 just came out. Xbox is not so valued, but it has some valuables aswell.
So let's talk about Nintendo. Fast sellers are Mario, pokemon, zelda & castlevania games. If you have any games that has cardboard box with manuals they are really valued usually as people threw them away and there are now mostly cartridges circulating around. But also only cartridges are sell and they usually go from 5-50 $/€ depending what game it's. New Mario, Mario, Pokemon & Zelda games sell fast and they so not tend to loose value over time. So yes, you can probably sell your Nintendo stuff with good money.
Xbox & Playstation games are little bit trickier and there are not that many hot sellers. But if you happen to have RPG (role playing games) or JRPG (Japanese Role Playing games), they are usually extremely expensive. Also horror games are collected a lot and those are raising in value, not loosing it.
Any shooters or sports games do get value over time. Same goes with Assassin's Creed games as there are just so much of them around.
But of course there are exception. If you happen to have complete collectors edition, those do get pricd hikes as there are not that many around.
If you have any console that has box and manuals, you can sell it for more money. If your console is any special version and not basic one, it's probably even more expensive. If your console is transparent, those are very much looked after! Transparents consoles also sell fast and with high prices even without box and manuals.
If you have generic sports game on any console no matter how old it's, they usually do not have value.
So if you are planning to buy a new console or any game, never throw anything away. Keep all boxes and manuals as it's the complete ones that people are looking after.
You can find your local seelling prices easily from ebay / any local app where pwople buy or sell things. When looking your game check that it's exactly same one that people are selling (many games have multible versions and different prices), what condition it is and it's it complete with manual or do you have only disk/cartridge. Also, what country area your game is! USA, EUROPE, some specific county etc. That might lower or raise the price depending where you live. For example, I life in Spain and pwolle here only buy PAL SPAIN games meaning game, manuals and the artwork needs to be in Spanish. Anything else is worthless to the local players.
Also, people do sell just boxes & manuals so if you have thoae around sell them away. Broken consoles sell aswell.
So here you have it, I hope this helps you identify value of the items you have laying around iddle ☺️✌️
Valuable!
