Everything is beautiful when it rains, except that it makes some people sad by disrupting their daily activities.
Beyond the tranquillity rain brings, I view it as a symbol of hope, purity, and revival. As someone who loves to plant, I always look forward to rain, especially in early January when winter lingers. I always fear my parents' and other farmers' crops would die if it didn't rain early.
If you are in my part of the world, you'll notice that after it rains, the air we breathe becomes fresher and colder. The dust settles.
As for the revival part, it comes from a dream I had when I was little. Unfortunately, I still remember that dream because of what I saw and how I felt when I woke up. In that dream, there was extreme war and heat on earth, people were dying, and I was in charge of my younger brother. He almost died because I didn't have water to give him, and my throat was burning as well. But then, miraculously, rain fell. I opened his mouth so it could wet his throat; we both drank directly from the sky, same with everyone in the dream. I don't know what triggered this dream, but it has instilled in me a deep appreciation for rain and a profound love for it. Rain gives life back to a dying living.
What I do when it rains depends on my location. If I'm on the road, I prefer to walk slowly and breathe in the calmness. There are fewer people and vehicles, and the air also smells nice. When I'm at home, I enjoy cuddling up with a good book or watching a movie with someone. The sight, sound, and smell of rain are very rejuvenating, comforting, and inspiring. Watching the rain fall gives me many words and ideas...It's raining as I write this post, so I'd say it also inspires me to write.
Question 2
The situation is a tricky one.
It can be very difficult when one is expected to agree with everything without considering his/her own thoughts and feelings. I believe it's important to express ourselves honestly to prevent frustrations from building up. It is also necessary to create a balance between understanding each other's perspectives and staying true to ourselves.
I know as women, we're often expected to be submissive and respectful to our partners. While these qualities may come naturally to many of us, they can sometimes lead us to forget our own needs and boundaries in relationships or marriages.
Even though I'm not married, I've learnt through my interactions with others that communication is key to a successful partnership. If I were in that woman's shoes, I wouldn't agree to that. If I did, it means that I'm exhausted from the marriage and ready to give up on it.
I will humbly ask him the reason why he settles on that solution and try to let him know it wouldn't benefit our marriage.
As humans, we will always be different, no matter how compatible we are. Misunderstandings will inevitably arise in a relationship, and it's up to the partners to engage in quality conversations to resolve their issues.
If I can't express myself, tell him what I want, and what is hurting me, I will no longer be a human but a robot; my sanity would vanish. I would have no peace because much remains unspoken in my heart.
Not all arguments are negative; engaging in a healthy argument with our spouse is preferable to silence. After all, an argument is a way of managing conflicts.
Another approach I would take is to avoid prolonged arguments with him; perhaps it's draining for him. As a Christian, I would pray to God and aim to be calm in the midst of his intensity.

What a nice effect of being inspired to write in the rain, and it is very true that a healthy discussion with your partner is preferable, as opposed to silence, !LADY

Oh yeah!
I love to communicate, no matter how tough the situation is.
Thank you so much for stopping by ❤️
You're welcome, have a nice evening
The rain nourishes and being in a farming region, we observed that the rain makes crops more robust and healthier, except when it rains incessantly then some plants rot. Your dream is scary yet it is nice that it made you more appreciative of the rainfall :)
It is true too, that an open communication between partners is healthy and solves conflicts too. So it is alarming if one is being silenced by the other.
