This week's contest topics are outstanding and amazing as always.
Though I was contemplating what to write on, I decided to write on the special bond I share with my family, though I have my favorite among my family members.
First having a family is a blessing to everyone, a family that is bonded with love, peace, unity and understanding, which is one of the outstanding blessings from God of every family. Although we love our family members, but there is one special and favorite among them.
In my family, my favorite among my family members is my brother, he's my friend, my confidants, my bestie, I don't have enough words to accurately describe it. Although, having him as my favorite sibling isn't an indication that I don't love my other siblings, I love them as well, but he happens to be my favorite. Although it's often said that blood is thicker than water, but the bond we share is very strong and firm. It always excites me that he also sees me as his bestie, confidant, friend and his favorite sister.
Our bond started from childhood, where we share a treasure trove of memories through that childhood till adulthood, we share in each other's joyous, painful, and sorrowful moments, I see him as my role model providing guidance, wisdom, and inspiration to me, i admire and respect his strength, courage, boldness and his achievements. I choose him as my favorite because he's the only one that mostly gives me listening ears, understands me, although others have always been there as well, but his is different. Although he's not my favorite because of the things I benefit from him, rather it's always a joyous moment, unforgettable memories the benefit are just additional.
My brother has always been a great source of support and encouragement, providing a safe and non-judgmental space to talk about my feelings, fears, and dreams. The bond between my brothers is unique and incredibly strong, because we share a special connection that is formed through shared experiences, memories, and a deep understanding of other selves. My brothers are my lifelong friend, because he knows me better than anyone else and he's always there for me. He has always been my friend, and he'll always be my friend for life.
My Brother is like streetlights along the road, that don't make the distance any shorter but he lights up the path making every journey worthwhile for me. Our bond and connection transcends through time, distance, and circumstance yet remains firm. I love all my siblings, but he's my favorite.
Everyday I'm grateful for the special bond we share. I'm also grateful for his uniqueness and strength, one who's always there for me. I'm proud to call him my friend, brother and confident, I will always appreciate, cherish and nurture our friendship.
