My mother is my role model. growing up and seeing her scale through difficulties alone, yet standing strong and firm, has taught me so many great lessons as far as scaling through the challenges of life and instilling hope, determination and godliness is concerned, through her I have learnt contentment, hard work, commitment, appreciation, etc. her character is worthy of emulation.
However I've come to realize that most mothers are often the most influential and inspirational figures in our lives, and it's wonderful that we look up to them as our role model, although they have their flaws but ignoring their weaknesses and focusing on their strengths and the virtue they possess is what will help us scale greater height.
I always admire my mother's strength, unconditional love and support, selflessness, honesty, kindness, and respect she has for her family, this has been a powerful source of inspiration and motivation, also her sacrifice and zeal towards God's services and others has been a great example to follow, nurturing and caring for others even when she doesn't know them her empathy as well as compassion both to others and her family.
She has taught me never to give up in the face of challenges, I quote her "it's a phase that only comes to taste your strength, and spur up your growth, never allow your past defined your future, there is a great strength embeded inside you, it can only manifest when you are willing to maximize it, there is a great future that lies ahead of you, why wallow in things that you have control and power over".
When said to make these statements, it will bring courage and strength to forge ahead, because her words always inspire me. I've witnessed her passed through lots of life challenges like rejection, false accusations pains etc, yet she remained strong and courageous, seeing a great future lying ahead of her, I can say she fought, won and conquered with strength, and boldness. I always admire her strength and resilience in the face of challenges, she is so determined in her goals, and her watch words remain it's possible if you're determined to achieve and have it.
Through her I've learnt not to look like what I've passed through, which has been a great example for me in staying strong and resilient in the face of adversity, seeing every phase of challenges as an opportunity for growth.
My mother happens to be a disciplinarian, and well principled woman, guiding her decisions and actions carefully, building a life of integrity and purpose and she strives to instill that in her children.
Having her as my role model, does not mean being like her, rather striving to follow her example in my own life by adopting the qualities and characteristics that i admire in her, developing my strengths and talents, forging ahead the path of life with determination and strength, learning from her experiences and insights builds a great and better person in me.
My mother has always been a positive influence in my life and in the lives of those around me, I'm so blessed to have an amazing mother filled with love, compassion and character worthy of emulation.
