Hello friends of this great community; Emotional intelligence is about being aware of your emotions and learning to manage them in a way that allows you to grow and succeed, and this has a lot to do with your resilience.
Resilience is the ability to adapt to circumstance, it is the ability you have to withstand the pressure of any event in your life and return to your original state; Many people, when faced with the pressure of any experience, simply give up, so the emotional skill you need to develop is not to give up, to dominate your mind and increase your level of emotional resistance.
People who are resilient, who go through difficulties despite what and despite how and move forward, have greater emotional intelligence and you may be wondering, how can I achieve this? This situation is so difficult, but there are different ways to do it; The first of them, which you have probably already heard enough, is meditation. Meditation helps you stay calm in stressful situations, it helps you control your composure, it helps you control your thoughts and emotions, it helps you not give up, It makes you capable of facing any challenge much more calmly, with more determination.
Another way to develop resilience is through physical exercise, but this is something obvious, you can choose activities that you like, not like swimming, running, whatever, we already know that the body needs to move, the body is made to be moving, but it is always good to remember and there are 1000 studies that talk about the importance of physical exercise specifically for improving emotional resilience.
So please, if you haven't exercised until now, even if it's just going for a walk, now is the time; Not everyone who goes to the gym or exercises knows how important it is to control your mind and talk to yourself in those moments, when you are in the middle of an exercise when you are already very tired, when your mind tells you, “this is it, we're done.” more, I want to stop”, then at that moment is when you talk to yourself and say come on “come on a little more”.
Because many times, at least it happened to me, my mind got tired before my body, so then I already knew that I had to talk to myself, push my mind and say come on, you can do it, the body can still do it, so so can you. You can, it is when you begin to master that inner voice a little better and that greatly strengthens your emotional resilience, practicing self-discipline.
And there is something that I have been applying in my life, thanks to the experiences and stories of other people as well, which is finishing what you start, many times when we start something and we don't see results we quickly give up and move on to the next thing and so on, we want everything fast and we want everything easy in this generation, we are not willing to pay the price.
The price of dedication, the price of discipline, of perseverance, learning to be a person much more committed to the projects we do and to respect our commitments, that can greatly increase your emotional intelligence and is extremely important for your life and your environment. .

I think a lot of our discontentment is really due to the world in which we live. The tech is awesome, but is it really? It often induces stress that we might not otherwise have. There are tons of factors. One thing you mention is that we often start something and don't finish; again, maybe a product of the times we live in combined with short attention spans and no perseverance drive.
You make a lot of valid points. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day!
