Wednesday Walk & I'm Cloudwatching in MyCalifornia!

It was a beautiful afternoon,so I decided to go for a leisurely run.
It is near the house;drove a mile or so to this spot.It is a glorious out here!
The clouds appeared to be so low,I found myself cloudwatching!

I love running along these enclosed tracts of farmland,grazed by domesticated livestock,such as horses, or cattle, or sheep.
These pasture lands where tended pasture forage,consisting mainly of grasses, and I suppose,an interspersion of legumes and other forbs.

Here, there is hardly a soul, or a car.I can run in the middle of the asphalt road.Ahh, but I have company...Cows!
I hollered at the cows to ask themif they were enjoying their meal.One looked up as if to say: "What do you think?"

"And what about the clouds?They are great, aren't they?"
It looked back, then its sides... and continued chomping away!
Silly cow.

I wonder how this will all look after several yearswhen the planned development is finally complete?
On a beautiful afternoon,when the clouds appear to be all over, I wonder if still I can cloudwatch like a cowgirl?

Awfull. Before 3 years it was really dry summer. Grass was all burned.. But 5 years im here and its not that warm. Mostly cloudy and rainy.. Yucky weather

I was in Colorado once, Denver to be exact... to attend a convention.
As a site trip, we went up to Breckenridge, and stayed there over three days.
Boy, that small town was beautiful!
I remember there is a house of wigs there. I dunno why. But we tried all sorts of wigs.
I thought that was so strange!

That is interesting! Maybe the rich and famous like wigs? Breckenridge along with Aspen, are the hub of who's who for sure.

Colorado is very pretty. I remember a small wide space in the road between Gunnison and Crested Butte called Almont. You could go up Taylor Canyon and literally be in the middle of nowhere in the high country. It was fabulous!

Wonderful road to run enjoying company along the way, watching the bubbling white clouds dancing above on the day. Hopefully not developed too soon, losing part of nature so close affects us, then we consider moving once again to find the solace of an open road to nowhere!
