Mindfulness according to merriam webster dictionary is defined as "the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one's thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis"
It's not always easy to maintain a sense of inner peace. Life can be challenging and unpredictable, and it's easy to get caught up in stress, anxiety, and worry. But for me, the key is to stay focused on the present moment, and to trust that everything will work out for the best.
I know I have talked about how I struggled last year December due to the fact that I lost all my original documents in one of the Hive community, till this day it gives me stress, and serious anxiety which makes me think about how I will survive even when I know I will be okay.
I have always been a peaceful person, I've never been one to seek out conflict or drama since from an early age. This trait has served me well even when in higher institution and when I decided to travel to another state for work. Despite all this calmness in me, sometimes trouble still finds it's way to me.
HOW DO I ACHIEVE ALL THESE INNER PEACE DESPITE THE CHALLENGES AND STRESS LIFE THROWS AT ME
Letting go of Negativity: I know it's not easy but I try to let go of grudges by forgiving those that wrongs me, and I try to stay far away from them by using long spoon to eat with them.
Daily interactions: Another way that i achieve inner peace is through my daily interactions with others. I try to be fully present when I'm engaging with someone, whether it's a colleague, a friend, or a family member. This helps me to build stronger, more meaningful relationships with others, and it also helps me to feel more connected by letting me know that am not alone.
Meditation: One of the key ways that I practice mindfulness is through meditation. I try to set aside a few minutes each day to sit quietly, focus on all the good things i have and let go of any thoughts or worries that come into my mind. This practice helps me to clear my mind, calm my nerves, and feel more centered and grounded.
Movies and Music: funny enough, movies and music has helped me walk out of a lot of draining situations that on a norm would have made me so depressed. Yes the problem does not go away but it gives me enough time to settle it without breaking down mentally.
Eating out: Sometimes I take my time, dress up and just go in to a very good eatery where nice food are cooked. My go to is usually jollof rice and fried chicken, I use this to appreciate myself and pat myself at the back.
mindfulness is a powerful tool for achieving inner peace and navigating the challenges of everyday life. As I continue on my journey, I know that I face many more challenges and uncertainties. But I also know that I will be able to navigate them with ease and confidence, thanks to the power of mindfulness and inner peace. And I hope that my story and experiences being shared with friends and colleagues can inspire others to cultivate this sense of mindfulness and inner peace in their own lives, and to trust that they too can navigate any challenge that comes their way.

Being optimistic and knowing that no situation is permanent is essential for inner peace. If I may ask, how did you lose your articles in a particular community?
Nevertheless, I'm glad you chose to connect your inner peace to your optimism and staying mindful. That's really how to get by in this world.
