I like your paintings, and I think you have done a fine job with them!
- I've never traveled to Europe, but have always thought the oft-depicted narrow streets with cobblestone paving — many relegated to pedestrian traffic only — were charming. But, seeing another woman in the painting made it feel like it was me, and I was exploring this Old World city. Her cute hat, matching purse, and the flowing lines of her dress are lovely!
- The colors you chose for the desert scene are amazing! I like the wisps of multi-color in the sky and on the sands below. The glow of the star on the ground around the Magi is very nicely-done! You could probably upload this design to RedBubble.com and sell Christmas cards with this on the front!
- What a storm at sea! You've done a nice job rendering the waves, starting dark near the surface of the water, getting lighter near the crest, and then bursting into whitecaps and a gazillion small bubbles at the top! I think any mariner or lover of the sea would like this one! Kudos!
- The concept behind the painting of the daffodils is remarkable, how the stems of the flowers blend into piano keys, undulating up-and-down as the ground beneath would do. The viewer is easily reminded that music is the universal language, and exists everywhere, even in Mother Nature, herself!
- The little animal in the last painting is adorable, but I find that image delightful mostly because of the hazy, "dreamy" aspect of it, with muted colors. The tree full of autumn leaves is pretty, and the mix of bluish–greenish colors behind the tree is gorgeous. I love the sprinkling of stars/glitter there, too! With the book in the foreground, this image should definitely be used by a literacy/library campaign!
If I were in the market for some artwork, and lived closer so that shipping & safe-delivery were more guaranteed, I would consider buying a piece of your art, no doubt! Bravo!" for taking this step to spread your work to those who would enjoy it! 😊
