Yes so far this new school has had quite a bit of projects that were fun. They don't get an exam for every chapter but often do a project instead, which is way better if you ask me!

Yes, I sometimes think practical application is always best, when it can be done.
I agree, it's much more fun and kids often remember things better that way.. I know I did!
