Being a woman in today's society is not easy. I believe that in many parts of the world where the voice of females are silenced or women are considered to be the weaker sex and are discriminated against more often than men. Men are still seen as the breadwinners of their families, even though women make up for fifty-two percent of the workforce. The truth is that there is no such thing as equality between genders; one gender always has an advantage over the other gender.
There are many organizations established to protect women's rights and create opportunities for them to have a position in society, such as the UN Women and the UN Foundation, or Vietnam Women's Union in my country. One way these organizations help is by creating an annual event called International Women's Day, and in Viet Nam, we even have one more day called Vietnamese Women on 20th October every year. This day honors women around the world by highlighting their importance and contributions to society and conducting awareness-raising campaigns against gender discrimination.
Oh well, my topic isn't about Women's Rights. The great Hive Celebration challenge hosted by guiltyparties earlier today caught my attention. Thus, I decided to take part in sharing with you one of my favorite communities on Hive, called Ladiesofhive. I'm so proud that we have one such community on the platform that focuses on women — their interests, joys, passions, and sharing stories of their journey in life. This community is a safe space for women to come together and share stories about their lives, get to more ladies all over the world, and learn from each other.

The community was created a year ago and has over 3000 subscribers. I'm certain that it's not just about how many Hivers we get, but how the ladies interact on the platform that matters most. It's amazing how active we are these days and how many women are inspired by each other. Over 1500 interactions in the past few days are superb impressive.
I began my journey as a moderator of the community, and it has been an eye-opening experience. I was able to host the contest and read all the articles by women that I found inspiring or felt encouraged by. Reading what other women said and writing about the stories and experiences is a great way to support each other. From reading all the articles and hosting the contest, I've been able to see that there are many women who want to be heard or share their stories for others to relate to or learn from.
I was blown away by the number of contest entries due to the big holiday Christmas and New Year. There were 103 contest entries and engaging with most of the entrants was enjoyable. ❤️
For many women, blogging is a way of life. It provides them the opportunity to showcase their creativity and share their perspective with others. Until I became a moderator of the club, I was never able to totally understand the feeling, struggles, and successes of women.
The administrator and moderators even create contests to keep the participants engaged, which is something I find particularly enjoyable. Moreover, every member is always enthusiastic and engaging with other members. I can see how excited ladies are always for the weekly contest because it's where we can share stories, ideas, and knowledge with each other. You're welcome to join us and express your personal ideas. Furthermore, every entry will receive LOH tokens, which is fascinating. What’s more, the community also provides me as well as other ladies an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who share our interests, culture, and personal stories.
We've been talking about how we hope to encourage other ladies to support each other more and to create more engaging topics that allow everyone to get involved. Ladiesofhive has shown to be one of the most popular forums on Hive to connect with other women. I believe that the community is getting bigger and bigger and I am so happy how the ladies in the community are so welcoming all of the time!
Let's join the community. There are many ways to express oneself, and we want to hear your stories. Participating in the weekly contest or share your thoughts on what you enjoy the most about cooking or baking, or maybe you like to give advice on how to make the perfect pie crust. 👭

This is an issue that shouldn't be an issue. As a guy, I do believe that women should have equal rights. It pissed me off that women are treated less when reality, women brought every single man in this world. Thank you so much for your contribution to the community and for empowering women on this platform! Keep it up! Because you are doing a fantastic job!

I grew up around women. My mom is always present and I have both sisters before me. I'm not perfect and I'm still learning everyday to be more understanding, respectful and a better man to every woman.
