Hello great ladies of hive, happy new week to you all. Welcome to my blog once again. The #ladiesofhivecommunity have carefully set out a great prompt for the week, this prompt has made me reflect on myself as a person and to give some honest answers to myself.
So today, I will be answering one of the questions from the ladies of hive community contest #222 which are:
- Who or what inspires you?
And / or - Who was your role model growing up?
Starting with the first question: WHO AND WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Inspiration actually is what drives your passion towards a particular thing. That thing or person that keeps you going even when you feel like giving up and letting go. That thing or person that makes you feel the need of pushing ahead even when it gets tough.
Among all other things and persons, my mother and younger siblings stand out as beacons of inspiration, motivating me to become the best version of myself and to keep pushing ahead even when I feel like letting go.
If I am to write a whole story about myself, my mother will take up half of the pages. Growing up in a humble background, I never thought I could make it this far. My mother had been a source of hope, anchor and a support system for me. Despite the hurdles, she keeps reminding me that things will get better with time.
She is that woman who does not mind hawking on the street just to make sure my siblings and I are feeding well, she does not mind selling her dresses just to ensure we do not lack books to write in school.
She has taught me how to persevere, how to be humble and how to be contented with the little we have. I can remember some days she will refuse to eat so that the food would be enough for just my siblings and I. she had sacrificed a whole lot just for my happiness and to make sure that I go through the fall walls of education. She has overcome numerous challenges just to set the pace for me to achieve what she could not achieve in life.
Most times when I feel like going astray, when I feel like giving up I will always remember that there is someone who pushed me to where I am today, I will always have it in mind that I have a mother to take care of, I need to put a smile on her face and make momma proud. I do not want all her effort in me to be wasted so I have to try as much as possible to attain the height she could not attain and to give her twice all she had lost for my sake.
My siblings though they are quite very young but still my greatest source of encouragement and inspiration. Each time I reflect on myself and feel like letting go, something tells me “I am the first child and I have lots of responsibilities” I need to keep going so I could be there for my siblings when they need me, I am supposed to set good examples for them, I need to be their support system too.
I want to be that big sister they love and would always look up to. I want to give them what I could not have while growing up, I want to make them see life in a different perspective, I want to be their leader and I do not want them to make lots of mistakes in life, I just want to be there for them.
Each time I ponder on all these, I see the need to keep forging ahead and to keep being better at what I do. My mother and younger siblings are the driving forces behind my inspiration, I will carry their inspiration with me, striving to make them proud, to achieve my goals, and to create a better life for myself and those I love.
Hola grandes damas de la colmena, feliz semana nueva a todos. Bienvenidos a mi blog una vez más. El #ladiesofhivecommunity han establecido cuidadosamente un gran tema para la semana, este tema me ha hecho reflexionar sobre mí mismo como persona y para dar algunas respuestas honestas a mí mismo.
Así que hoy, voy a responder a una de las preguntas de las damas de la comunidad colmena concurso # 222 que son:
1.¿Quién o qué te inspira?
Y / o
2.¿Quién fue tu modelo a seguir mientras crecías?
Empezando por la primera pregunta: ¿QUIÉN Y QUÉ TE INSPIRA?
En realidad, la inspiración es lo que impulsa tu pasión hacia algo en particular. Esa cosa o persona que te hace seguir adelante incluso cuando sientes que te rindes y te dejas llevar. Esa cosa o persona que te hace sentir la necesidad de seguir adelante incluso cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles.
Entre todas las demás cosas y personas, mi madre y mis hermanos pequeños destacan como faros de inspiración, que me motivan a convertirme en la mejor versión de mí misma y a seguir adelante incluso cuando siento ganas de abandonar.
Si tuviera que escribir toda una historia sobre mí, mi madre ocuparía la mitad de las páginas. Al crecer en un entorno humilde, nunca pensé que podría llegar tan lejos. Mi madre ha sido para mí una fuente de esperanza, un ancla y un sistema de apoyo. A pesar de los obstáculos, no deja de recordarme que las cosas mejorarán con el tiempo.
Es esa mujer a la que no le importa vender en la calle para que mis hermanos y yo nos alimentemos bien, a la que no le importa vender sus vestidos para que no nos falten libros para escribir en la escuela.
Me ha enseñado a perseverar, a ser humilde y a contentarme con lo poco que tenemos. Recuerdo algunos días en los que se negaba a comer para que sólo tuviéramos comida mis hermanos y yo. Ha sacrificado muchas cosas por mi felicidad y para asegurarse de que cruzara los muros de la educación.
Ha superado numerosos retos para que yo pudiera conseguir lo que ella no pudo en la vida. La mayoría de las veces que me siento desorientada, cuando tengo ganas de rendirme, siempre recuerdo que hay alguien que me ha empujado hasta donde estoy hoy, siempre tengo en mente que tengo una madre a la que cuidar, tengo que poner una sonrisa en su cara y hacer que mamá se sienta orgullosa. No quiero que todo su esfuerzo en mí se desperdicie, así que tengo que intentar en la medida de lo posible alcanzar la altura que ella no pudo alcanzar y darle el doble de todo lo que había perdido por mi bien.
Mis hermanos, aunque son muy pequeños, siguen siendo mi mayor fuente de ánimo e inspiración. Cada vez que reflexiono sobre mí misma y tengo ganas de dejarlo todo, algo me dice: «Soy la primera hija y tengo muchas responsabilidades». Tengo que seguir adelante para poder estar ahí para mis hermanos cuando me necesiten, se supone que tengo que darles buen ejemplo, tengo que ser también su sistema de apoyo.
Quiero ser esa hermana mayor a la que adoran y a la que siempre admiran. Quiero darles lo que yo no pude tener mientras crecía, quiero hacerles ver la vida desde otra perspectiva, quiero ser su líder y no quiero que cometan muchos errores en la vida, sólo quiero estar ahí para ellos.
Cada vez que reflexiono sobre todo esto, veo la necesidad de seguir adelante y de seguir siendo mejor en lo que hago. Mi madre y mis hermanos pequeños son los motores de mi inspiración, llevaré su inspiración conmigo, esforzándome por hacer que se sientan orgullosos, por alcanzar mis metas y por crear una vida mejor para mí y para los que quiero.
