What if we as a community created a memetoken on solana and actually used it to bring more people to snaps and hive in general? It'd have to be a collaborated effort, with a timeline, give everyone a chance to participate early, etc and use it to bring new people here. Thoughts?

I've mostly use Hive and not much into memecoins, but I don't have great impressions of memecoins.
I'd love to get more people into Hive and it's surprisingly such platforms don't have more activity, but I suppose traders are very different target than platform users
Nice idea. But people aping into memecoins are not the ones patient enough to earn cent rewards on posts. They want some quick pumps rather.

I think someone created a Meme coin in Splinterlands with the same idea. Might be worth finding out what happened with that. I can't remember who it was but maybe someone readint this will know.
I think any initiative that can bring more people to Hive could be interesting.
I don't know the Solana ecosystem so I have no idea if this would work.
