This is still work in progress. We should get some improvements in the next Hive hard fork.
The main difference should be that "mute" still show posts/comments in collapsed/grayed form, while "block" completely remove them from your view.

Blacklist is basically "block" (think about it as "blocklist"). You can create your own or decide to follow the one created by someone else.
Excellent. Thank you. I got confused when you mentioned Block. Thought there was mute, block and black list. Had to go back and check. Anyway. I love this feature. Thanks for adding it.
