Hello @bleujay. Decentralization is more of a process; it doesn't have an endpoint, it's simply a parallel process to centralization. Just like Windows (a commercial OS) exists alongside Linux (a societal asset, humanity's if you will).

The right to privacy, property rights—these are more the prerogative of society than the platform. If society allows violations, no platform will be able to protect against that. But again, Hive can play its part within its niche.

One of the options that comes to mind is eternal storage of texts, so that descendants, say, 100 years from now, could read what their great-grandfather wrote.
