It's crazy how different things are around the world. The worst catastrophic events we've had here in Denmark is an earthquake (ish) in the ocean, like really far out. Caused some sounds and a bit of shakes, but not enough to wake me up from my sleep 😂

We are sitting in areas where plate tectonics meet. So, we can get big earthquakes. In the Cascadia subduction zone, scientists believe there are magnitude 9 earthquakes every 500 years or so. The last one occurred in 1700, when the region was not highly populated.
Let's hope it won't happen anytime soon. The estimate is, after all, just an estimate 😳
