To put it in perspective, there are 5 billion internet users worldwide, while only 600+ million crypto wallets exist. We are definitely early adopters, and the potential for wider adoption increases as developments in this space continue to advance.

I believe this adoption is slow because a lot of fake news is released linking crypto to bad things, a lot of scams also happen by malicious people and that's what ends up being publicized, so people don't know the good side of crypto.
True, there are bad publicity that surrounds crypto. But the good things is that people tend to be loyal to crypto once they fully understand it.
I'm certainly a living example, my first real contact with crypto was with splinter and hive, but I'd heard about it before, but I didn't pay any attention because I thought it was dangerous or that it was just a scam.
Mine is BSC & Hive but it is here where I feel more connected with the crypto community.
I feel the same way, I've learned a lot here at Hive, it's the place I feel most connected. At X I can hardly talk to anyone about crypto, even though I follow a lot of people who are involved.
Community spirit is so much better here IMHO 👍
