Nah. If we compare it to Fiat, then people do crime with that aswell and the banks are not held responsiblity for it xD
So why should Devs? :D unless its the purpose of that crypto xD

I'm totally against that. Whoever created the technology or platform is not responsible for the people who take advantage of it to commit crimes.
It's like a gun manufacturer being accused of a murder, but he wasn't the one who pulled the trigger.
What kind of crimes?
Crimes like money laundering, or using it to buy illegal things, and others.
I believe that crimes that violate natural law should have those responsible put to a vote and stakeholders decide what should be done.
The U.S. dollar is still the most common form of currency used for illicit transactions. Should we disband the Federal Reserve? (Well, actually, yes. But not because of dirty USD.)
I think it depends on the situation. If it's something very specific, there may be punishment for them. However, generally speaking, no.
I would hope that blockchains can develop ways to prevent such activities as much as possible.
