Looking through November's photos because @daveks showed me a reflection effect that helped me understand how low-angle reflections work (or not) at or near sunset ... but also found this more ordinary beauty from that same day... Blue Heron Lake boathouse, at sunset...

I feel like I’m standing on that and just staring into the sunset. What a beautiful sight!
Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome. That was a grand day ...

So refreshing! Not that hard to look at even with those sunlight. Great pic!

Thank you so much! There are very thick trees over that side, and you cannot tell from the picture but they are quite distant, so it was just at the point of being a good photo ... a wonderful moment!

The light.

Greetings @deeanndmathews ,

To be able to take a photograph of that scene is what one could only hope turns out....this is a gem.

Happy to hear @ daveks was able to give you some pointers!

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

That was actually before I knew @daveks's works ... what I have learned from @daveks's daily sunset photos is that such photos at near-sunset need not be a fluke ... there is a way to compose such shots so as not to just catch a random moment ... they can be sought and found!
