@detlev ... can I use a worldmap pin for a blog about a beer shop I visited? Or is it only for 'real' travel destinations?
Sure you can. The map can be used for anything. The community though is only for travel-related content. So if you pin your beer post to the map, don´t publish it in worldmappin community but in the beer community or else. ;)

You can use it but we will add features in near future to integrate different communities like food, beer and maybe even 3speak and so on.
Worldmappin will be the „Hive map“ for all of us.
At the moment, you need to have travel related posts whenever you post to the travel community „worldmappin“ to get some extra #Traveldigest upvotes.
Visiting the 3 borders might be a good one 😃
