I'd be more than stressed if that happened, would feel like my hands are chopped off😭
I think I would manage... I have plenty of non-technological interests, even reading old fashioned paper books!
I think it would be a bit inconvenient since I use my phone to pay. I hardly carry my wallet with me anymore. It's also needed for MFA at work.
I can miss the rest of the apps.

Once, my phone died, and I couldn't get to work by bike, subway, taxi, nothing. I couldn't eat, ask for help, clock in at work - everything was cut off, I became a non-person.
If I could escape that and throw my phone in a lake, I would!

I had this problem recently. I spent a little over a week without a cell phone.
Cell phones are now necessary, just like a car, for example.
But children and teenagers having their cell phone broken must be the end of the world for them. LOL
