I see more and more messages of people that stop using big tech apps like X or Whatsapp.
I have Signal for a long time, but I still only have a handful of people that use it.
Has anyone here made a succesful switch away from Whatsapp?

nah I don't use whatsapp even just sms/mms still, as for other social media I do scroll on tiktok and insta some but VERY rarely upload anything like once per year if that.
It is impossible to stop using WhatsApp as it has become the “SMS” of yesteryear. I use less X since there are snaps, Facebook I stopped using it years ago, Instagram only for memorable moments.
We all switched from SMS to Whatsapp too...
btw, I haven't even tried signal yet, I think it's the first time I've heard it xD
Whatsapp is basically my number 1 app.
I don't think I'll be changing it anytime soon. Signal never used.
Strangely, I become more normal recently 😂 and being so backward. Used to signal, matrix and all that secure comms. But now I am becoming a lot normal by using Whatsapp since it's industry standard where I live.
