I just finished this book: the witch of Limbrigt; a novell based on facts.
It tells the story of a women that is being prosecuted for being a witch in the middle ages just because she was different.
A very interesting story. You can visit the castle and dungeon she was held.

Sounds interesting. For some reason it reminds me of the story of Jeanne de Clisson. I wrote a haiku about her a long time ago. History holds some truly amazing stories.
I don't know that story, but you are right about history!
I linked the Wiki article about it. Basically, the King of France executed her husband because they suspected him of treason. She sells everything and buys a fleet of ships which she uses to attack French ships. Kills all but one of the crew and sends them back to the king.
Wow! I'll check it out. A courageous women! Surely in that days!
I am no novel lover, but I guess I have to give this one a try...
I don't know if this book is translated.
What's the original language?
It is in Dutch. The story also takes place in the Netherlands.
The story seems to be very nice.
