So.. just ran into this message for my WordPress website. At first I thought it's some sort of maintenance but then read twice. It's the first time when this is happening and I'm really confused as I'm only posting my travel articles there, ugh 😫

I didn't know that this is possible. Maybe it's the best to self-host. I have mine:)

I had no clue either... and yeah, I've been thinking of self-hosting as well but it's not something I can afford right now sadly. The life of a freelancer sucks in general 😥

Hive works the best tho, what's your purpose of starting your own?

Well, my blogs always go first on Hive, but just wanted to have them somewhere else stored too, in case something ever happens with the chain

Same happened to me on YouTube a few years ago, they didn't suspend me but stopped my monetisation, which tbh was peanuts, but besides the point

I never managed to get monetization on my Travel Channel, not even 12 years later! And I had no monetization for WordPress either. But I was only hoping to have my 'safe' and personal spaces on the internet with what I create. Guess not anymore 😖

I keep hearing stories like this from wordpress.com. With TravelFeed Hosting, we now have a full WordPress alternative specially built for travel blogs and fully integrated with Hive. We have a detailed comparison of TravelFeed vs Wordpress. Custom pricing is possible.

Wonder if this is due to their dispute with WP Engine.
