My #atticart friend has left now so I'm pretty much done with #gelliprinting for the day. I managed to lift 2 prints I liked in the end. I used a bit of scrap to try and lift the left over paint but it failed. However, I like it as a pink backing paper for future #art projects.
That happens ! If it's a nice color, I keep it for background or stencil something over it in a contrasting color to plump it up. I like your leaf prints. I have not tried that yet. I should grab a few leaves before they turn and get crunchie.
I was surprised how nice the leaf prints were when I cleaned them on the white paper after using them on the Gelli plate.
Don't pick your leaves until you're ready to go.
I picked up some nice ones last week but, by the time I went to use them, they were too crunchie. 😂
