It's a really windy day today. My least favourite kind of weather. I didn't want to go outside at all. My reward was getting to admire the tenancity of this tree, still keeping it's leaves, holding on for dear life.

Indeed. When I was outside it was hard to walk the wind was so strong. I can't imagine how those leaves are clinging on.
On the bright sight, the skiing season is about to start :) It already snowed a bit yesterda.
There's no season on the UK South Coast. I can't remember when the last time was we had enough snow to make a snowman let alone ski.
I noted many Brits skiing in Austria, there are affordable flights to Salzburg ;)
Alas. My skiing days are over I think. My knees can't take the pounding anymore. I always had mixed feelings about it anyway. Hate all those layers of clothes and if it's busy. But loved those moments of sheer beauty and peace when finding myself on a quiet slope.
Too much windy is really annoying.
