It's official. I much prefer the bear market to a bull run. In the bear I feel like I'm getting a bargain. In the bull I feel stressed and full of FOMO. #crypto #FOMO
I wonder if crypto will ever just settle down. We don't get these huge swings with fiat (generally). People won't treat it as money if they are just speculating on it.
Yeah. My son did that recently. After years of suggesting he might like to DCA with a small amount each month he went in with £500 when Trump got in then proceeded to spend the next couple of days glued to his phone and, consequently, got too stressed and so sold.
If $HIVE can get above a dollar then I'll probably spend some as there's stuff I want. Having the income from it means I can soon recover what I spent.
It's great that you have enough income from Hive to look at it that way. I've been out of that particular loop for a while now. Income for me is more likely to come from #splinterlands but I'm trying to consolidate my actions there so I spend less time in front of a screen.
I'm kinda feeling the same way. Seeing a six-digit Bitcoin this morning gave me my first hints of FOMO/regret. It's all part of the game, but it does sting a little to miss out on $99,500 in profit. Oh well, upwards and onwards.
I don't spend too much time in regret it's more I get unnerved going forward. DCA is easier when the numbers are smaller. And in the bull market there are just so many possibilities. I like it best when everything's movig sideways.

I got your point (and it's a good one).
