Happy to be home after my first brisk walk of the day. I'm not someone who enjoys these crips winter days so pleased to be back in the warm. Walking on the sunny side of the street helped a bit though. Roll on Spring! Bring on the cowslips! #flowers #nature

I came across this field during Covid when we were finally allowed to go out. We found a nature reserve that we didn't realise was there, despite having parked in the car park and driven past it numerous times. First time I'd seen so many cowslips in one place since my childhood.

Did you get any frost? Pretty cold here first thing, but it's less white out now.
Yeah. Lots of frost. In fact I just got back from my second walk and there's still frost in the most shaded areas.
