The $0.02 Dust Threshold applies on short form (snaps, waves, threads) too.
If you really want to reward the recipient of your vote, you have two options:
- Vote with enough VP
- Use @dustsweeper, a paid service which adds value to your dust votes
The $0.02 Dust Threshold applies on short form (snaps, waves, threads) too.
If you really want to reward the recipient of your vote, you have two options:
Or @dustbunny
I guess it works the same, right?
Yes. But dustbunny is free for users with small stakes.
Well, not my case :))
I didn't know that, I'll look into it and thanks for sharing.
put a vote is still an acknowledgement that you saw the snap and liked it. Not everything has to be about money.
Yes, and so is a relevant comment :)
I guess many people are not actually aware of the Dust Threshold, that's why I mentioned it.
This is always great to read and remember, I've seen a lot of votes below $0.02 that will probably turn to dust. I'm always voting at least the exact 2 cents in the snaps so that everyone can get the correct return.
This might be a bit tricky, though - if the price drops withing next 7 days, you might get under the threshold.
Gee, I hadn't thought of it that way, it really can happen. Thanks for the warning again
And there's likely gonna be correction soon ;)
I hope so!
It has come already:)
What do you mean? Have changed the snaps? Do you have a post explaining it?
Thank you for sharing!
I will find out more about this. I already knew about this $0.02 situation, but in this alternative, no.
I generally vote to show that I really liked the comment, since at the moment I don't have a "decent" voting weight.
If I voted to get to $0.02, my VP would go to 0. LOL
