Privacy is really a worrying issue with emerging AI tools.
It's been a huge issue since Internet emerged, if not earlier ;)
I just tried out the DeepSeek-r1 model. I run it locally instead of using their app, so my data isn't sent to their mismanaged database.
Do you have the hardware to run a good one?
I'm just running some small ones. I heard YouTubers talking about building a mac mini cluster to run the larger models.
