I was there when it was still active (just). Just a tourist trap now.
It's no tourist trap - it's just this booth in the middle of the street :) no entrance fee or anything.
Last time I was there I saw guys dressed as Russian and US soldiers charging for pics.
Well, maybe in the peak season, I assume February is not that busy there. I mean you can obviously buy crappy souvenirs around this place, but that's common everywhere.
It may have been in warmer times. I in town there again in winter and it gets chilly. Then we went to Buchenwald and it made you feel for those who endured the winters without decent clothes.
