It might be a tad off your route, but Monaco is one day thing. And then, you can stop by this marvellous village: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%88ze
Hmmm yea bit far off... Need something cool in this area... Because with a big truck in Barcelona is not so nice.
Avignon has a UNESCO protected city centre, and quite rich history indeed.
Montpellier and Marseille could be fine. I've spent a week in the Nimes region, but that was in summer - winter stays are likely less charming there.
My bro wants to leave France today xD so basically we need something cool on the Spanish side of things.
