Watching from a distance. (not a single dog in the fight). All I see is two people who believe strongly they are doing what's best for this place.
Who is right? Who is wrong? Time will tell.

I think there's an implementation of Basic Income that is somewhat equivalent to a "safety net" of sorts. A baseline that doesn't allow for inequality to get out of hand, and poison the well.
There is also one that is just corrupt.
I don't don't support vote buying personally either. Its like buying yourself a Trophy, a Trumpian move (he wins his tournaments you know).
But people don't share my morals. And, if I'm to persuade them. I have to find a way to speak their language.
It's not just that, that extra rewards doesn't come from trees, it's taken from everyone not doing it, just cause we can't tell on a post-by-post basis doesn't mean it's not happening when 2-3m+ hp is doing it

That's the win. They now understand the better model.
Everyone understands it, they just pretend they don't cause it affects their earnings. Most of these people have been here for years, they're not mentally challenged, they just pretend to be.
I should have specified, I guess. The ones you need to persuade are the providers of the service. Reading back, I didn't mention it.
This is becoming pointless to discuss, obviously they don't want to stop earning from buyers and they hide behind them making you out to be the cunt when you downvote. I'm done talking about this daily now
A way to show them how they WILL do better, if they do things differently. This is why I'm so interested in working out the "Building an Economy on Hive" blueprints.
