RE: Snaps Container // 1732330800

I've got about $13,000 in Bitcoin when priced at 100k. My uninformed suspicion is that it'll aggressively dump if it hits that symbolic, emotional marker.

I've set staggered sell-offs down to 75k, in case I'm sleeping when terrible things happen, Worst case, I get 10k out!

Sort:

At first, it's not a bad decision.

I went in at the worst possible time like 3 years ago so Im making sure not to fall for the same mistake XD

Great mindset.

I have about half of yours, cashing out at 100k won't make a massive difference to me at the moment so I plan to hang in there to see how far it can go. It's gone up by 45% in a month already, I think it still has plenty of mileage. Fun times ahead

Agreed. Even if it doubles again, I get 26k which is nice but...hardly life changing. No reason to pull it out other than to get it back into Hive. I just don't have that much faith in Hive at the moment

My view is that I have nothing to lose on Hive. I know to a certain extent what's happening on chain, who the movers and shakers are, and what they're doing. That's a lot more insight than for other coins where I'm at the mercy of god knows who and can be slaughtered easily

Generating that amount via Hive blogs is impressive. How do you take it from Hive to BTC?

I took a year off work & bought a shiny laptop years ago with it, too, during STEEM days.

I haven't taken anything out for years...I actually have no idea how to send it back and forth anymore, times have changed XD (previously, I just send to Hive's binance account)

Ah. I see. I did something similar during the Steem to Hive days. It was the only time I ever took anything out. It was some much easier when we could use Binance.

So wait we can't use binance now? Dannnng lol I had no idea

Oh. I don't know, I just assumed from what you said we couldn't. 😂 Maybe we still can. 🤷‍♀

haha, well now I have some research to do

Every penny of which, btw, was generated via Hive blogs

That's good to know.
