Tbilisi is riddled with Soviet era nuclear bunkers. Their locations are both kept unknown and remain unknown to authorities. But you can stumble across them if you know what you are looking for.

Oh cool! Why are they secret? Is there stuff inside still?
They still contain everything, but some are incredibly damaged or things were stolen. The Soviets didn't create records of their creation, so when the Soviets left Georgia they were unknown to the Georgians.
Many of them are locked up, many of them are harder to find and access and aren't locked up. Some are in incredible condition with gas masks, equipment, and all the electronics still working.

I can understand why the few that know of their locations keep them secret. They're of great historical importance and their conditions should be kept. People would definitely damage and steal things inside.
An interesting setting for a movie or TV show.
I've wanted to document some of these in various ways, but it's hard without revealing their locations. I do want to make a post about one of them, showcasing the interior and the history. They're scattered all over the city. Right next to homes. So few are aware of them
Plenty of histories to be told based on this.
