I only post my own links so right now I use r/oldschoolcool and two others relevant to where I live. There are many subreddits so you will need to search around to find what works for you and what you want to submit. One of x-rain's posts has a list of link friendly subreddits.
Always read the rules of the subreddit to make sure they accept links or message the mods and ask. I had one that would not accept links from hive, ecency, leo, etc. Said it was spam . Lol
Me too, its a good initiative.
When I started doing the contest I didn't realize the posts themselves would earn that much Hive. I was pleasantly surprised. 🙂

Hmm. I had that happen to me twice last week but those are the only two times I had that problem. Every other time I got the message.
Maybe try replying to x-rain in this post below and tell him your problem. He might be able to get it sorted.
