Yes it is. There are quite a few of those around the area. A lot of goods were taken back an forth across the Cascade Mountains with those back in the late 1800's early 1900's.
Here is a really old post I did with some more examples if you're interested.
What a cute and curious deer and yearling you got there they blend well with the rustic scene and the cabin. And yes I read your post about the old wagons you linked below, the tv series I am watching American primeval made me curious about wagons. Thanks for sharing
Bambi and the girlfriend. I am not sure if bambi is the girl. Lol
Those are not domesticated deer sir? They are not that afraid of human it seems
I would say semi-wild in the compound where I live. These guys took off as soon as I took another step forward. The ones in town are even tamer. lol
Here is an exapmple:
What a nice place have you have there. Even you said its semi, its still a peaceful place.
The video is a place in town where I walk sometimes. The other ones in the picture were at my house outside of town.
The deer is feel at home and made me think he owns one of the house in that neighborhood. :)
is that an old carriage across the street? pretty cool neighborhood

You're welcome. After seeing parts of the old trails these wagons went across it must have been a very uncomfortable ride. 😀
Your private security guards. 🤣
They do hang out here a lot. 🙂
So, they are your friends too. 😀
They are suspicious about something hahaha...
I had just opened the garage door so they were curious. As soon as I took another step forward they bolted.
Living like this must be very difficult, thinking that everything around you could be a predator.
But I believe they are more used to seeing a human around.
In my area they are definitely use to humans. As long as they keep their distance. lol
