From looking at the photo: The towers seems to be real, the horse and jockey look artificial. BTW: how do you get a horse to do the stunt? The only possibility is brute force!

Supposedly the horses enjoyed it, in the end the horses jumped alone, without rider and no force applied.
I did some research after I cast the (wrong) vote.
These activities took place for decades and were stopped not only, but also because of concern for the horses. But the story goes that a few jockeys were injured in all those years, but never an animal.
That´s what I heard, too.
