A short video breakdown of HIVE OPEN STATS - Blockchain Edition
Just a little FYI - Hive Open Stats is an open source project and any UI (or user) that's part of Hive is able to use the API and share stats in any visualization they want.
This was me breaking down how we visualize the blockchain stats.
In today's episode of missing Taiwan, we have the Golden Waterfall that's located on a roadside before reaching Yehliu Geopark.
Beautiful place. Should be added to the "to-visit" list. !PIZZA
It's just a side-trip if you'll book a Shifen, Jiufen, and Yehliu tour package.
Nice. It's going to be one of the destinations that I'd like to see when I go back to Taiwan. 😀
This place used to be a mining site and behind it is the Teapot Mountain
Oh wow! Didn't know this. Teapot Mountain has an awesome panoramic view of northern Taiwan. Too bad it was raining when we went there. Well, so many things to look forward to when I go back. 😆

I had attempted a Fall photoshoot a couple weeks ago, but the lighting was no good and my daughter kept acting up 😜
Kids are so difficult to portrait when they notice the camera.
I always pretended to be configuring my camera settings so they acted a little bit normal 😂
But I have teens now, so they don't want to be photographed anymore anyways.
It still is a cute photo despite the tongue 😛
Thank you : ) Yes 🤦♀Mine does a fake smile when I tell her to smile. I say "look natural" but she doesn't understand that yet haha. We tried another photoshoot yesterday with her Halloween costume - we got a few good photos despite the silliness.

If we want to have the option to include multiple pins in the future I would suggest a small change:
json_metadata: { pins: [{lat: 53.54139, lng: 9.98398}] }Still supporting post main text ... but also start looking in post metadata so we can store it there in a nice json format. Specially helpful to assist our users when they edit a post and want to either change or add a new pin.

Sweet potatoes have been harvested. Got less than expected for three beds, but they look great none the less. One box has eating spuds and other is going to be for seed next year.
Without a doubt this is my easiest plant to grow in the garden.

Yes, that's basically how it works.
The way the @peak.snaps account upvotes comments is based on interactions and we'll share more details later on.
But the principle is simple, the more interactions (aka replies) you generate with your comments the more you are rewarded.

Both. I've recruited a few.
The most people who've come to my #Halloween party was 2 years ago, 20 including 2 kids. No one claimed their $GHOST though, despite coming in costume.

Watching all these vids about "web3" games and why they chose certain blockchains, tl;dr, they all get paid for it and none of them reward players with l1 coins or any real value from the game itself either, just scraps.
That seems like a classic case of “follow the money”; IMHO devs should build blockchain games that create economies where the whole ecosystem will benefit.

Brits are supposed to be animal lovers, but there are so many pets being abandoned. We foster cats for a charity and they are overwhelmed. Many are pregnant. Get them neutered! If you want a pet get it from a shelter and take responsibility.

Cats kill thousands of native wildlife here and people still say 'not my cat' and complain when their local council has an indoor 24/7 rule.
There are too many cats and that is partly down to irresponsible owners. They breed at a crazy rate, so should be neutered.

No it's based on how fast they fill up with comments ... fill up means something like get to around 500... they won't ever fill but the ability to interact with them for technical platforms diminishes around that number.
more or less it's been about 1 a day but that could change depending on how much interaction we get

We create a new container once there are 500 comments on the post. Of course people can still interact with the old snaps and that can generate a few more comments over time.
