honestly it looked like your own badge

hm? o.O

The badges I have are up to date. In what way they should be updated? In the ownership, i.e. that the correct people own them?

Above is a thread with the badges in question but here are is what we suggest

INTRUCTIONS

  1. Change the description to reflect what the badge is all about
    or
  2. Add remove users to reflect the intent of the description of the badge.

@jarvie
Does it mean my badge is OK when it's not on the list?
It's the Cycling Community Badge: badge-177745

should be when the changes come out you can double check. Correction takes barely a minute. But yeah if it's not on the list you should be fine.

Hi @jarvie,
I indeed have one badge I almost forgot about, but which I would like to revive and use as meetup badge for Austrian gatherings.
Only problem, I lost the keys. Since I am the recovery account, how can I start the recovery process? I never went through it.

tool 1 works only if the owner authority of the account with the lost key was changed within the last 30 days
the second one also doesn´t work, it allows to change the recovery account (if I would have the keys), but not to do an actual recovery (the field is greyed out):

Recovery is to recover an account who's keys have been changed. Aka Hacked/Attacked.

Recovery still requires having the original owner key before it got changed.

Ok, so if keys were lost, no way of recovery possible?

Recovery is only possible for 30 days after changing the owner key.
Owner key lost = account lost

Been meaning to do an update on those badges... will do so as soon as i can. Lot on my plate right now.
