The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. starring Bruce Campbell, was cancelled after one season.
Coincidentally, I’ve just started rewatching this. Was it actually cancelled, or was it intended as a single season miniseries? As I remember, the ambiguous ending might have been seen either way.
I think the writers saw the possibility of not being renewed, but hoped it might continue anyway.
The Tick (2001) starring Patrick Warburton, ran only 9 episodes.
I’ve yet to watch this, but it’s on my to do list.
It's fun low-budget superhero humor. I have it on DVD.
I just found out that there are three versions of this, one animated and two live action. So you’re referring to the 2001 incarnation?
Yeah, the pre-Amazon live-action one from '01. The 90s animated show is fun, too, but it got 3 seasons IIRC.
