Have you ever cooked with lovage? It's quite an old fashioned herb that is kinda a cross between parsley and celery.

For a moment, I thought it was something else. I've never heard of this herb. Its Wikipedia page mentions it's found in European cuisine but don't mention anything about Australia or Canada. Curious.

Yeah it may have been used by early settlers if they grew the herb but it's pretty rare. You can find it but not many people know what to do with it. Some foodies make lovage oil which would be great for roasting veg!
