I really can't understand why. I remember why I chose to be here and not there like many of us and I'm continuing to think the "Hiverse" is my favorite place. Here in Italy we use to say "sometimes it's better to be just few ones, but good few ones." 😊
If you look at their trending a few people make all the money and the rest get crumbs. It's totally corrupted. Hive is not perfect, but we have a real community.

Hmm, I would love to see that @dalz makes a comparison of the top earners on Hive vs. Steem. Also on Hive always the same whales get the majority and the rest gets crumbs. It lies in the nature of the stake-based earnings, I get it, but it is not where it should be.
Especially the content curation is too much on auto-pilot and mutual whale voting.
I think there is a better spread of rewards here. Of course some benefit from top earnings on every post, but others have a chance. Having more people with a decent stake will improve matters.
There are some major interfaces missing in that comparison including leo and ecency.
Those two get a lot less views, but that may exclude apps.
The worst part about that is almost NOTHING has changed on Steemit.com. I haven't kept up at all with whether there are even apps using Steem like Hive has. Even so, we know Mr. Sun has manipulated numbers before and I'd expect that's happening here as well.
Does he even care about it? I think the Korean traders manipulate the price. It should have crashed by now.
I don't know, but anything that he owns will benefit him for being popular. Steem is still sitting at about $.19, but it's part of his bigger baby, TRX, so he still has to care to some degree.

It's from here. It is showing numbers, but can be switched to percentage of the total. I don't know how they collect the data, but I guess you have your own stats on visitors. peakd seems to do best out of the Hive social sites.
How did peakd visits drop so much? I remember a while ago it had over 1 million monthly visits.
