This was nine years ago when I was using the old Tsu social site that paid people from the advertising revenue. It took about year to make that much. I've (very rarely) made that on one post here when the price was high. Hive is paying people every day and I just did my #HPUD
I loved tsu when it first started, I think I got my first payment after the third or fourth month. I had banter with Sebastian the founder as we were both chemical engineers.

I know a few people made decent money. I donated some to charities and bought some art from someone on there. The concept was good, but seems it was not sustainable.
Yeah great concept sharing the ad revenue, but like anything needed mass adoption. Yes charities did well and I remember fundraising for some of them.
But yes nothing like what people were getting as post payments on the legacy chain and even now!
Always great have places that are not web2 to interact and get paid for!
